During my week in Los Angeles, I ambled along the coast and stopped at some beautiful spots for a few hours.








We visited Santa Monica, a lovely beachside area with pier, beach and plenty of shops to browse along the  Third Street Promenade.





Santa Monica has a lovely feel to it, you feel safe walking around, there is a lovely pedestrianised area with seating outside where you can listen to the talented buskers and entertainers.





We went to The Penthouse Restaurant at The Huntley Hotel which is a must see https://www.thehuntleyhotel.com/penthouse.





We sojourned through the stylish lobby which had been updated and took the lift upto the restaurant.

There are comfortable snugs to sit and look out at the vista of the sea, beach, you can see Malibu and the Hollywood Hills.







We ordered a glass of wine and a sandwich, this was my vegetarian lunch. I had toasted pumpkin rye bread, aubergine,courgette and portabello mushroom with a lovely garnish and a side of chips! It was fresh, crunchy and so tasty. It was wonderful.











My family members had Fish Tacos and others had a Club sandwich. All loved the taste, portions and the atmosphere of the restaurant.





You must go and visit The Penthouse Restaurant, it is well worth it after you have partaken in a lot of shopping and walking 🙂
