Killarney, Kerry, Ireland

Killarney is a beautiful small town in Kerry, Ireland. There is plenty of culture, shopping and sights to behold.

You can try Irish icecream, buy celtic jewellery and have nice bites to eat. There is a great traditional music scene going on, so make sure you pop in and check some places out.

I went to Muckross House  and Gardens which is located in Killarney National Park, it has lovely vistas and this is where Queen Victoria visited. You can take in a tour of the house.  It is wheelchair and buggy friendy. You can rent a horse and cart if you like, but I preferred using my legs and exploring the park

We took a picnic and took in the scenery.

After this we went to a nearby waterfall called Torc Waterfall which is an easy amble,
